BAD NEWS FROM THE NFL: Kansas City Chiefs star WR JuJu Smith-Schuster received a shocking announcement just days before the fateful Monday Night Football game against the Jacksonville Jaguars that has left fans worried. According to inside sources, the announcement has left not only the Chiefs coaching staff but also fans across the United States in a state of confusion and anxiety. As one of the key pillars of the offense, any incident involving JuJu could seriously affect coach Andy Reid’s game plan and Kansas City’s chances of winning…
An unfortunate development for JuJu Smith-Schuster heading into Week 5.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had a good game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, but there’s one play he would like to have back.
Late in the second quarter as the Chiefs took the lead on a touchdown catch by running back Isiah Pacheco, Smith-Schuster hit Ravens cornerback Chidobe Awuzie low in an attempt to block him.
Even though he was not penalized on the play, the NFL has fined Smith-Schuster $7,903 for what is described as a low block under the category of unnecessary roughness. He clearly did go too low on Awuzie, although it’s safe to say he was just trying to make a play to help his teammate in the moment.
Other than that, Smith-Schuster recorded four receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown against the Ravens. His TD was an important one, as it gave Kansas City its first lead of the game, which it never surrendered.

Whether it’s called by officials or not, the league carefully reviews every play and will hand out fines for violations that they see fit. It’s an unfortunate development for the veteran wide receiver, but he’ll put it behind him and move on as the Chiefs get ready to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football.
Smith-Schuster has quietly been a very steady force in the Chiefs’ passing game this season. He does of great job working in the short-to-intermediate parts of the field, and is able to find soft spots against zone coverage.

That will come in handy this week as the Jaguars’ defense plays a hefty amount of zone. With speedy WR Xavier Worthy back in the mix, things could open up even more for Smith-Schuster, who has build a nice rapport with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
